How it all began…
Foot Works Podiatry was founded by Sarah in 2014 with a clear vision — to create a podiatry service built on professional care, practical treatment, and genuine relationships with patients.
From the very beginning, Sarah wanted Foot Works Podiatry to be more than just a clinic. Her goal was to create a welcoming environment where patients could feel comfortable discussing their foot health concerns and receive honest, effective solutions to improve their comfort and mobility.
With a strong belief that healthy feet are essential to overall wellbeing, Sarah built the practice around a holistic approach to foot care. This means not only treating existing foot problems, but also helping patients understand the causes of their symptoms and how to prevent future issues.
Since opening in 2014, Foot Works Podiatry has grown into a trusted podiatry service for patients across Bangor, Holywood, Newtownards and the wider North Down area.
Many patients come to the clinic experiencing discomfort that affects their daily lives. Painful nails, corns, calluses or infections can make even simple activities such as walking or standing difficult.
As the saying goes, “If your feet are sore, you’re all sore.”
At Foot Works Podiatry, the focus is always on delivering professional, compassionate care that helps patients stay comfortable, mobile and able to enjoy an active lifestyle.
Today, the clinic continues to support the local community with a wide range of podiatry treatments including routine foot care, nail care, fungal nail treatment, ingrown toenail care and preventative foot health advice.
Sarah’s goal remains the same as it was when the clinic first opened — to provide safe, professional and personalised podiatry care that helps people maintain healthy feet and a better quality of life.
